I am happy with my looks and don't need anyone trying to change me.
Please leave me as I am. Branding success depends on using a logo in a consistent and correct way.
While it would be impossible to address every example of what not to do, here are a few don'ts.
Do not skew, stretch or wrap or otherwise distort.
Do not add dimension (drop shadow, etc.).
Do not change the branding primary colors.
Do not change opacity.
Do not alter the size, rearrange, add text or remove elements.
Do not fill with textures or images.
Do not crop in any way.
Do not outline or place in a shape that could be thought of as part of the logotype.
Do not use the graphic without the wordmark.
Do not change the orientation, tilt or rotate.
Do not use as a motif, design element or pattern.
Do not place on background that is of similar hue or color.
